The Boston Race Amity Festival is a beloved annual gathering that celebrates everything Boston can be — a city where communities of every background come together not despite their differences, but because of what they share. A Day for All of Boston
The festival draws thousands of attendees from across Greater Boston for a full day of outdoor programming. Families come with children. Elders come with memories. Young people come with energy. Together, they make something that can't be planned — only experienced.
Past festivals have featured local and national musical acts, spoken word artists, cultural performances, food from dozens of communities, and a vendor marketplace celebrating Boston's rich ethnic and artistic diversity.
The festival also includes programming directly connected to the race amity mission: conversations, historical exhibits, and presentations on the tradition of interracial friendship in New England and across America.
